Barnsley Zero 45

Milestones

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has declared a Climate Emergency, and is working with consultants to work out what needs to happen in the Borough to get our emissions down to net-zero by 2045. This would mean doing everything we can not to make the climate crisis any worse. As well as the technical research, we need to understand what local people think about this; what do you want the Council to prioritise in tackling climate change, what are you most concerned about, and what do you think would be the biggest benefits of some of the changes that we’d need to make?

This engagement platform will be open until the 30th of January 2022. Visit the ‘Have your Say’ page, give us your views, and please share widely.
